At SSD Rajawara Dance School, study under professional, active artists and choreographers who live Indian dance every day and are dedicated to your growth.

Nathalie Rajawesala is the founder and artistic director of SSD Rajawara Dance School & Indian Creative Arts in Milan. A seasoned performer and choreographer, she has dedicated over 15 years to sharing the storytelling, discipline, and sheer joy of Indian classical and modern dance across Italy and Europe. She directs the Rajawara Dance Company and leads our annual travel retreats to India.

Leli Neeraja is a dedicated classical Indian dance instructor. Having trained extensively in traditional Gurukuls in India, she brings a deep understanding of rhythm, footwork (tatkar), and facial expressions (abhinaya) to her students, helping them unlock the spiritual and technical aspects of classical Kathak and Bharatanatyam.

Chitrangee Uppamah is the spark of energy in our studio. She specializes in high-octane Bollywood choreography and traditional regional folk styles. Her high-spirited classes focus on rhythmic coordination, expressiveness, and building student confidence in a warm, welcoming environment.

Irene Pasquali is a professional performer and instructor specializing in modern fusion styles. Bridging the gap between traditional Indian classical structures (Bharatanatyam and Kathak) and contemporary Western fluid movements, Irene invites students to explore their personal storytelling and creative freedom through dance.

Mary Vargas specializes in teaching children and adult beginners. Her classes make learning Indian dance fun, accessible, and deeply educational. She focuses on rhythm, coordination, coordination, hand gestures (mudras), and expressive theatrical acting (drama) that brings Bollywood storytelling to life.

Martina Caputo is a passionate Kathak practitioner and folk dance enthusiast. She specializes in group choreographies and regional folk dances of Western India, particularly the circular Garba and rhythmic Dandiya of Gujarat. Martina prepares students for stage showcases, weddings, and local festivals.
Our teaching roster regularly collaborates with visiting guest artists, musicians, and workshop instructors from across India and Italy to enrich our curriculum.
